Welcome
Our Practice Probate law is not limited to probating wills. It also encompasses such matters as administering decedents’ estates or trusts, petitions for guardianship of incompetent adults or minors, commitment hearings for mentally ill or mentally challenged persons, adoptions, birth corrections, name changes, and the issuance of marriage licenses. In addition, a probate court also is the forum for litigation in such matters. Conkle, Ellis, Fergus & MacDowell attorneys are experienced probate practitioners. We understand that many of the issues in this area of the law are personally sensitive to our clients, and therefore strive to give the highest level of personal service to administrators working on matters under the supervision of the probate court.
